Overview of Program: Summer internships are available for undergraduate students majoring in one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics at ETSU. These are five-week internships, of approximately 40 hours per week (June 1 to July 17). Students will be paid a stipend of $3,000 for the five-week period. In these internships, you will work with a local partner organization, helping to lead classroom activities, preparing and giving presentations on topics in your area of expertise, giving scientific demonstrations, and other related activities. Students in the internship program will be trained and mentored by faculty in their home department at ETSU, local high school teachers in their field, as well as the staff at the science institution where they interning.
