Students, please review the following information with your parents/guardians before continuing with the application.
Mission Trip date: June 10-17, 2026
Deadline for Application: March 1st, 2026
Total Cost for the Trip: approximately $1,800 per person
- Graduating Seniors will be given a discount of $300 as a gift from the church.
- This cost also does not include passport fees.
- $300 non-refundable deposit per person due: March 1st, 2026
Please note: If we purchase a flight in your name and you have to cancel the trip for any reason, you will be responsible for the cost of the flight even if it exceeds $300. Flights are very difficult to change names. You should be able to retain the points/mileage of the flight to use at a later date within the calendar year of purchase.
- 50% of trip cost due: March 29th, 2026
- 75% of trip cost due: April 26th, 2026
- 100% of trip cost due: May 24th, 2026
Additional Requirements (for Students):
- At least 50% average attendance at Sunday morning UHSM table talks or UHSM Wednesday nights from Feb.-May 2026
- Background checks for all mission team members.
- Completed Student application (Submit the application online. A brief follow-up with additional questions with BJ McMichael may be part of the process.)
- Completed Parent form (online)
- 2 Reference forms completed by a non-family member (online)
- Able to attend at least 3 mission training meetings (Training dates TBD according to mission team schedules).
- If multiple students submit applications simultaneously when spots become even more limited, our UHBC Missions Council will select the students to fill the spots.
