    • We accept the following payment methods: cash, personal check, money order, and/or debit/credit. There is a processing fee of 1.99%+$0.49 when using the debit/credit payment method. For any returned checks you will be assessed the aforementioned charge and a $30 return fee. You will also lose the ability to pay with a check for future payments. All payments are due by the second practice. There will be no exceptions unless a payment plan is formally approved. ALL FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE

      Competition Traveling Team 

      Athletes that desire to join the 2023 traveling competition team, must meet the travel team’s qualifying marks. There will be multiple opportunities for athletes to accomplish these qualifying marks. Athletes that do not meet the marks must participate with the non-competition team until they accomplish the requirements. In the meantime, the athletes must pay the fee for the non-competition team as they are training to meet the competition team’s standards. Once the athlete has met the competition team’s qualifying marks, the remaining balance of the traveling competition team’s fees must be paid in full by the next practice. At any time during any practice, an athlete will be able to compete for a spot on the traveling competition team. Any athletes that have a desire to compete in different events will have an opportunity to qualify for each event. Once on the travel team, all athletes must show, at practice and track meets, that they are striving for the best marks possible. Athletes that don’t show improvement during the season through meets, will be put on temporary hold by the head coach. Again, THE HEAD COACH’S DISCRETION will be the gauge by which their marks at competition meets and practices are evaluated. Any athletes who do not show improvement after achieving the initial marks for qualification will be removed from the traveling team and asked to work out with the non-competition team. No refunds will be issued once this occurs.

      Competition Traveling Team

      1 child= $350 registration fee. 2 children = $300 each (which saves parents $100). 3 children = $250 each (saving $150 for parents). For each additional athlete after the third child, the registration fee will be $200 each (For example, 4 children will be $750 + $200 = $950).  THESE FEES WILL BE DUE BY NEXT PRACTICE AFTER YOUR CHILD HAS MADE THE TEAM, UNLESS A FORMAL PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT IS NEEDED!

      The registration fee will cover the following:

      • Competition card with insurance AAU & USATF

      •Custom Team Speed or Throw Uniform

      • Team warm-ups top and bottom

      • Team T-shirt

      Backpack
      • Registration fee for first qualifying round to JO

      • Administrative fees

      • Season February-August (for those that advance to Junior Olympics)

      February - May

      Saturday 12:00p.m. - 2:00p.m.

      Sunday 3:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.

      June - July 

      Non-Competition Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-7:00 
      Competition Team Monday- Friday 5:30p.m. - 7:00p.m. (until the competition team leaves for the Junior Olympics)

       

      Team Communication - All team announcements, schedule changes, and in-track meet discussions are done through Slocker Team App. Please download the app and follow the instructions we provide in order to register as a member of the team after paying your registration fees.

       

       

       

    • Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

      I hereby agree to participate as a team member in the sport of track and field. I understand that there are certain risks of injury which are inherent in the practice and play of this sport. I understand that there are other risks which can be found while traveling and performing any other activities that are related and incidental to my participation. With this, I acknowledge that and I am willing to assume these risks as they arise. I hereby certify that I am fully capable of participating in the designated sport and that I am healthy and have no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities, except as listed below. In addition to giving full consent for my participation, I do hereby waive, release, and hold harmless Knowledge Ministries Inc DBA Golden Elite Track and Field Club ,  University of West Florida, the Escambia County School District, the Escambia County School Board, FT Walton High School, Okaloosa County School , Gulf Shores Sportsplex  , and its board members, officers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by me during the course of participating in the designated sport and the activities incidental thereto whether the result of negligence or any other cause as the season off-season/ and or the upcoming season training program(s) progress and take place.

    • The undersigned have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Contract and all Rules, Policies, and Safety provisions established by Golden Elite Track and Field Club.
