Programming an odometer to match the true mileage of the car is legal, as long you are not misrepresenting the true mileage of the vehicle.

By submitting this form, you fully understand and agree with the following statements:

1) The odometer reading as entered above reflects the actual mileage of the vehicle listed.

2) I/We have read and understand the laws regarding odometer service, repair, and replacement (U.S. Code 49 U.S. Code § 32704) and agree to abide by all aspects of the Code

3) I/We have read and understand the laws regarding disclosure requirements on transfer of motor vehicles (U.S. Code 49 U.S. Code § 32705) and agree to abide by all aspects of the Code

4) PowerLabs Inc. shall be held harmless from any and all claims, actions, cause of actions, demands, rights, damages, and attorney fees relating to or arising out of PowerLabs Inc. work on the odometer. PowerLabs Inc. reserved the right to refuse any work for any reason and without explanation. PowerLabs Inc. has advised me/us of my/our legal obligation to notify prospective purchasers that this vehicle's mileage has been altered.
