The Colorado Council on High School/College Relations (CCHS/CR) is pleased to announce the CCHS/CR Scholarship Program for the Graduating Class of 2023 and continuing Colorado College students.
RECOMMENDATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please be aware that a late or incomplete recommendation will remove this applicant from consideration. Applications and supporting materials must be received no later than March 15th, 2023.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the 2023 CCHS/CR Scholarship is to assist Colorado high school seniors or continuing college students, who will attend a college/university within the State of Colorado. CCHS/CR is a voluntary organization and therefore the primary selection criterion for this scholarship will be Volunteerism/Community Service. Sixteen, $1,500 scholarships will be awarded for the purpose of defraying tuition costs. The scholarships will be distributed among the seven CCHS/CR districts and the continuing college students and may be utilized at any of the Colorado Council Member Institutions of Higher Education in the State of Colorado.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Before submitting a recommendation, please ensure the following criteria are met by your applicant:
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or continuing college student.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident and a resident of Colorado for his or her final two years of high school.
Applicant must be accepted at a Colorado Council Member Institution enrolling in the next academic year.
Applicant must demonstrate significant experience in volunteerism/community service.
Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
