To minimize any anxiety that may be associated with your dental treatment we offer the option of premedication with Triazolam/Halcion (.25mg). Triazolam/Halcion is a safe and effective non-intravenous conscious sedative when used in the dental office under careful monitoring. In addition to the Triazolam/Halcion tablets, oxygen/nitrous oxide may be used during the dental procedure for additional sedation needs. The medications will wear off within hours after the dental treatment has been completed. However, individual responses to sedation vary and cannot be fully predicted. You will be drowsy for the remainder of the day and will need rest. A monitoring fee of $199 will be charged for the license to monitor a patient while on Triazolam/Halcion.
