Take a break from the week, have lunch with colleagues, and craft! The Arts and Crafts program will host open studios twice a month (2nd Wednesdays, and 4th Fridays) for faculty and staff to be creative. During each session artmaking stations such as block printing, fibers, and painting and drawing will be available. In addition, we will host a special focus each session for those interested in a more guided experience to learn a new technique or to experiment with a new medium. No experience is needed, and all levels of making are welcome!
The Arts and Crafts program embraces experimentation, failure, joy, friendships, and creates space to make connections to learning and everyday life. We understand and support the process of creation as an element of wellness. The studio is located on the lower level of Worner. Lunch will be provided.
