Request for Digital Equity Project Funding

The Advisory Board for the Kansas City Regional COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund is inviting community organizations and libraries throughout the nine-county bistate metropolitan area (Cass, Clay, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas) to apply for grants to assist underserved households access reliable, quality internet, digital devices and training. The expanded use of the internet will enable more adult residents to use the internet for meaningful use purposes – education, employment, health, civic engagement and personal connections.

Funds available total $600,000. No one organization may apply for more than $50,000. Nonprofit organizations and libraries that serve residents of the nine-county Kansas City region are eligible to apply.
