East Brunswick Recreation & Parks and the East Brunswick Arts Commission invite you to participate in the Township’s Annual Winter Wonderland event featuring a Holiday Market, an outdoor sale of fine art, handmade craft, jewelry, décor, baked goods, and specialty foods on Sunday, December 3!
This day-long event provides artisans with a venue to exhibit their work, demonstrate their talents, and offer original handmade and other items for sale.
We are looking forward to you experiencing the Annual Winter Wonderland and Holiday Market at the East Brunswick Municipal Complex. In addition to the Holiday Market, the event includes live Music, Kids and Family Activities, Seasonal Family Photo Opportunities, and more, leading up to the Lighting Ceremony of the Township’s Christmas Tree and Menorah! This event (which only included the Lighting Ceremony) has over 1,000 attendees each year, and we’re looking for an even bigger turnout in 2023 with the addition of the market and family activities. As always, we will be promoting the event extensively on social media, signs, flyers, and websites. We hope you will consider being a part of this highly anticipated seasonal event!
HOLIDAY MARKET INFORMATION
Market hours are from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm. Artisans may begin setting up as early as 9:00 am. All exhibits MUST be set up by 11:00 am. Many vendors will be able to drive up to their booths to unload their display.
All vendors will be assigned approximately 11x11 feet of space included with your $100 registration fee. Booth sharing is prohibited. Tents, tables, chairs and electricity will not be provided. Tents are required to help designate your space and add to the visual appeal of the event.
Vendors are responsible for the display, supervision, and the removal of all items (not to be removed before 6:00 pm) and for leaving their area clean and orderly upon departure. NOTE: This is a family friendly event; inappropriate work is not permitted.
WEATHER: In extreme conditions exhibitors must realize that a show can be cancelled due to weather related problems. Refunds will be given if the event is cancelled due to weather. There is no rain/snow date.
As this is a cold weather, outdoor event in the early winter, vendors should be prepared to be outdoors in the potential cold for an extended period of time and should therefore dress accordingly for the weather. Additionally, with sunset being in the late afternoon, there will be some ambient light once it gets dark, so vendors should plan accordingly to keep their booths lit during the evening hours of the event.
CANCELLATIONS: If the event is cancelled due to weather, vendors will be refunded. All other cancellation requests will be handled on a case by case basis in regards to refunds.
OTHER: It is the responsibility of all exhibitors to comply with local, state, and federal revenue and tax laws.
