  • About the TBTN Awards:

    Each year, we recognized recipients at the Take Back the Night (TBTN) event who have demonstrated leadership and advocacy for ending relationship and sexual violence. In particular, there are two award categories:

    • Excellence in Leadership & Advocacy Award
    • Nicholas Albano Student Advocacy Award

    Please note that previous award winners are ineligible for consideration. We hope you will self-nominate or nominate someone you know who you think is worthy of these awards.

    Winners will be announced at the TBTN event on Thursday, March 30th at 4:30ppm-6:30pm.

  • Excellence in Leadership & Advocacy Award

    Awarded to a faculty, staff, or community member associated with Niagara University who has demonstrated leadership and/or promoted advocacy for ending relationship and sexual violence.

    The Nicholas Albano Student Advocacy Award

    Awarded to a student at Niagara University who has demonstrated leadership and/or promoted advocacy for ending relationship and sexual violence.

     

    To submit a nomination: Please complete the information requested below, and upload a brief statement (500 word max) as to why you believe the person you are nominating has demonstrated leadership and/or promoted advocacy for ending relationship and sexual violence.

    Please note:

    1. Be sure to put the name of the nominee, and your name (as nominator) on your brief statement.
    2. Be sure to upload the statement as a Word or PDF file.
