Let's talk about gas stations!
Texas Standard is putting together a special program about gas stations and their role in Texas. From the state's first fueling depots to the charging stations of tomorrow, gas stations are an omnipresent fact of Texas life. They are also woven into the regional fabric: West Texas' Allsup's and their famous burritos, the tacos of the Metroplex's Fuel City locations, and the 800-pound beaver in the room: Buc-ee's. Are you a super fan? Has a gas station played an important role in your life, or been an oasis in a food desert? Do you have any questions about gas stations or how they work? Record your thoughts and share them with us below. And keep an ear out for our special program in March.
