• Switch and Signal Summer Skate Camp 2023

  • Some Basics:

Please fill out one form per camper. Recommended ages are 5-13 years for all genders and skill levels.   Camp sessions are Monday - Friday.  Full Day 9:00am-4:30pm. The price is $350 for the week. We can provide all equipment (skateboards, helmets and pads) free of charge, but campers are encouraged to bring their own boards and pads.   Drop-off begins at 8:30am, camp starts at 9:00am.  All campers must be picked up no later than 5:00pm.  (Campers picked up after 5:00pm will be charged a $20 late pickup fee).

Light healthy snacks (fruits, vegetable, nuts, etc.) will be provided each day of camp.  We encourage drinking water instead of sports drinks. The park has a filtered water bottle fill up station and fountain.  Allergies should be noted in medical information section below.

Lunch will be provided every day of the week but campers can bring their own lunch. If any camper has significant allergies, we may modify and advise against campers bringing their own food.

    Curriculum:

Campers will start out the first day with basic lessons and skill assessments. Based on age, skill level and comfort, groups ages 5-8 and 9-13 will be separated for instruction. Campers will explore the skatepark with an instructor to offer lessons and advise in the street course, bowl, and flat ground tricks.

Other activities will include assembling and finding the right fit and feel of your skateboard, decorating your skateboard, shooting and editing a skateboard video.

    Safety & Sanitation:

    • All campers and park staff must have a morning temperature recording using a no-touch thermometer administered by a park employee. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees F will not be able to enter the building for 14 days. Parents/guardians must wait outside until their child has had their temperature recorded.
    • We don't anticipate the use of masks during camp activities this year, however we will follow county and state masking guidelines.

Further, we will require that all parents and guardians sign a written statement on the first day of camp to confirm that their child has not exhibited any common COVID-19 symptoms within the last 72 hours (fever above 100.4 degrees F, persistent dry cough, chest tightness, etc.). If your child has tested positive for COVID-19, you must provide evidence that they have since tested negative twice. We will reschedule campers who are symptomatic or who have tested positive without documentation of a negative test result for a later camp session when possible.
