Before completing this form please note:

It is a prerequisite of membership that meditation teachers hold a minimum two years of regular personal meditation practice.

Application for membership of the Meditation Association of Australia (MA) requires you to attach evidence of your education and training and/or letter/s that support your meditation teaching experience.

You will be asked to upload copies of these documents during this application process.

If you are applying as a Graduate from a Meditation Teacher Training course you will need to provide the name of the Course and Course Provider and your certificate.

If you are applying through a Vocational pathway, you must have been teaching meditation regularly for at least two years and have received either formal or informal meditation teacher training prior to commencing work as a meditation teacher.

Additionally, you will be required to attach two formal letters of reference from recognised meditation teachers, organisations, employers or health related professionals. These letters must describe your teaching experience, endorse your teaching practice, and recommend that you be accepted for membership.

Cost of Membership

Once only joining fee: $90 Plus Annual Fee.

Categories: Personal Development, Therapeutic (requires degree level health qualification in addition to meditation studies), Spiritual.

Please note the fee will be automatically debited from your credit card every year unless you notify us otherwise in writing.

Fees are GST free.

Membership is not automatic. You will be notified of the approval of your application by email. Please be aware that your application may take up to two weeks to process.
