Race Committee Fundamentals is a free introductory course for people who want to learn the basics of race committee work. You’ll learn from the best - experienced race officers who know what it takes to run great races.
Through a variety of instructional strategies – direct instruction, small group work and hands-on activities – your volunteers will learn about these topics and more:
- Wind
- Course set-up and management
- Signal boat and mark boat duties
- Having fun giving back to the sport!
Thank you for offering to host a Race Committee Fundamentals course - we rely on volunteers to help us train Race Committees, and your willingness to pitch in helps us to advance the quality of RC work around the country.
