The Garrett County Arts Council (GCAC) is pleased to announce we are seeking submissions for Ginseng 2023, our annual literary publication showcasing work by Garrett County writers. You have until March 3, 2023 at 11:59pm EST to apply. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Application/reading fee ($10) must be received by application deadline.

Submission Upload:

You may submit up to 5 pages of poetry (no more than one poem per page), or up to 10 pages total of creative nonfiction, essay, memoir, short story or short stage play. A panel of independent jurors will be looking at all applications online. Please label your submissions with your name and the title of your work. Example: YourName_YourShortStoryTitle, YourName_YourPoemTitle, etc.
