On-site Field Trips

Did you know that Boyd Hill Nature Preserve offers the perfect opportunity to learn more about Florida’s natural environment? Situated in the midst of Florida’s most densely populated county, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve is a beautiful natural area ready to be explored. It is an excellent place to observe and study plants and animals in their natural habitat. We invite teachers to bring students to discover and learn more about the natural environment through our programs, which have been designed to help achieve curriculum learning objectives.

All field trips are 90 minutes long and are available to school groups. Maximum of 60 students per day. Pricing is valid as of July 2025.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve offers a neat opportunity for your group to explore and learn about Florida’s diverse natural environment. Our engaging group programs, designed for families, community groups, and nature enthusiasts, provide an interactive experience to discover the wonders of Florida’s ecosystems. Whether you're interested in learning about local critters, Florida wildlife, or the plants that thrive in our region, each program is crafted to spark curiosity and deepen your connection to the natural world.

All programs are 60 minutes long and are available to nonschool groups. Maximum of 60 participants. Larger groups should reach out to the Programming Supervisor to discuss programming options. Pricing is valid as of July 2025.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve offers engaging off-site programs that bring nature education directly to you. Through interactive programming, participants can uncover the mysteries of nature, examine the unique behaviors of animals, and gain a deeper appreciation for the rich biodiversity of Florida. Boyd Hill's off-site programs are perfect for schools, organizations, or anyone eager to learn more about the natural world surrounding us.
