Children's Ministry Application

Thank you for your interest in serving at our Children’s Ministry at Otterbein. I believe you are going to be blessed not only by the children you will be working with but also by the other volunteers you’ll have the opportunity to serve alongside.

For the safety of our children and as a part of our screening process, all children’s ministry volunteers must have had a security clearance check within the past five years.

PRESCHOOL 9:30 a.m. Service:
• 2-Year-Old Room Helper- every other week, no teaching required.
• 3-Year-Old/4-Year-Old Large Group Teacher- every other month, support provided; teaching experience preferred
• Preschool Substitutes- fill in when needed in the 2, 3, or 4-Year-Old Room

ELEMENTARY

9:30 a.m. Service:
Planned activities and materials are provided for each of the following:
• Special Needs Buddy: assist and support one child each Sunday
• Kindergarten Small Group Helper
• Substitutes for small group leaders- fill in on an as needed basis

Children’s Check-In 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Services:
• Helpers to assist families as they check their children into our OCKids Ministry.
