Due to the content within some of the computer games, only persons 15 years of age or over will be permitted to take part. All Participants must be registered with Devonport Online Access Centre and must ensure an emergency contact number is provided and kept up to date so that someone can be contacted if necessary.

Participants are expected to follow directions given by Games Night Supervisors and abide by these Games Night Guidelines as well as the Acceptable Use Agreement. Participants are also strongly encouraged to follow general gaming rules and etiquette at all times.

Devonport Online has computers, tablets, a tv screen, and a selection of board and card games available for people to use. Participants may bring their own games and equipment if desired. Please note: the internal speakers are unplugged on Centre computers, so headphones are required for sound.

If there are other groups using nearby meeting rooms the door can be kept closed, but Participants will still need to be mindful of language and keep the noise level down. When there is nobody else around, Participants may relax more about the noise level and language and just have fun.

Drinks and snacks are welcome. However, messy foods are discouraged as the cleaners will not be back in until Monday. The premises must be left in the same condition as they were found (e.g. no mess in the kitchenette, toilets, floors or tables).

A Games Night Supervisor will be waiting at the disabled access door to the right of the revolving door off Market Square between 12:45 – 1:00pm and 5:15 – 5:30pm. Participants who are running late will need to contact the Centre on 0444 525 434 to make arrangements to be let in. Participants may use the toilets and kitchenette on level 1 but are not permitted to wander around the building or hold/prop open doors for other people. Participants will be escorted out when they are ready to leave the building.

If any Participants cause the Centre to incur excess charges for cleaning or security, the Centre will require these to be reimbursed in full before participating in any further sessions.
