  • The following information is used to create or update a customer account in our system to make your experience better and ensure the transfer process is faster upon your arrival. Please ensure all fields are completed and everything is current and accurate.

  • Customer Information

  • All firearm transfers require a transfer fee to be paid before being completed. Firearms purchased from our online store, or that we order for you, are exempt from the transfer fee.

    Additional storage fees WILL apply for each firearm if the transfer has not been completed within fourteen (14) days from the date the firearm was entered into our records and the customer was notified to schedule an appointment. For more information see our Store Policies.

    Bring any type of documentation showing your service type and receive a $5.00 discount on ALL firearm transfers.

  • Transferee / Buyer

  • IMPORTANT!

    You must bring acceptable identification that has your current residential address to complete the transfer.

    • The transferee/buyer must be the individual who purchased the firearm as shown on the order/invoice. If the person attempting to transfer the firearm or complete the Firearms Transaction Record (ATF Form 4473) is someone other than the individual who purchased the firearm, we WILL NOT complete the transfer.
    • The transferee/buyer must be at least 18 years of age or older to purchase rifles and shotguns.
    • The transferee/buyer must be at least 21 years of age or older and a Utah resident to purchase handguns, frames, receivers, NFA firearms (silencers, machine guns, etc.), or pistol-grip-only firearms.
    • If you are conducting a private party transfer, the seller AND transferee/buyer must provide valid government-issued photo identification.

  • As required by federal law, to complete the transfer of the firearm(s), if your valid driver's license or ID card does not have your current residential address printed on it (not just updated with the DMV or written on the back) you are required to provide additional acceptable supplemental documentation.

    Supplemental Documentation:

    • A combination of valid government-issued documents to satisfy the identification document requirements of the law. The required valid government-issued photo identification document bearing the name, photograph, and date of birth of the transferee/buyer may be supplemented by another valid, government-issued document showing the transferee’s/buyer’s current residence address.
    • A valid electronic document from a government website may be used as supplemental documentation provided it contains the transferee/buyer’s name and current residence address.

  • All Utah concealed firearm permit holders are exempt from paying the $7.50 background check fee. Please bring the permit with you to your appointment.
