Every teenager is positioned for true greatness. The Our Time Teen Club is more than a teen class or teen group. OTTC equips young people that are serious about reaching their God-given potential and truly living for the Lord.
Each member will receive structured challenges that will equip them biblically with tangible rewards throughout the year. Each member will receive special activities, a reward trip to Silver Dollar City and area, a special activity with Pastor & Mrs. Charity and Pastor Michael & Mrs. Bekah. OTTC will have t-shirts and pull overs available strictly to OTTC members. All teens are always welcome at Marion Avenue Baptist Church. However, OTTC is exclusively for young people that are committed to discipleship and following the Lord
To apply for OTTC, your parents must fill out the online application. To keep your membership active, your parents will then keep track of your progress and memorization in the home and share it through the online form.
Bible Memory:
Bible memory is pivotal in the growth of a Godly young person. This year we are going to memorize the Book of Philippians. The deadline for memorization is August 6, 2023. A minimum of 3 verses must be said at one time with one help per 3 verses. You may say your verses to your parents at home.
Bible Reading and Prayer:
All teens should set out to read the Bible through in 2023. Some teens read at different rates and have different abilities, but reading the Bible completely through and having a daily prayer time should be of highest priority.
Soul Winning:
Soul Winning, whether during an organized time or personally, is one of the top commands in scripture. The Bible makes sharing the gospel extremely significant, and thus every teen should strive to make it a daily and weekly part of their life. Passing out tracts and looking for every available opportunity to tell someone of Jesus is of upmost importance.
Home Life:
How we live at home is who we really are and what we are becoming. OTTC members are committed to having the right relationship with their parents and siblings.
Ministry Service:
Every young person needs to have an area of service in the church where they physically serve others and Jesus Christ. Some ideas would be helping on a bus route, working in a class, setting up for events at church, and singing in the choir.
