Thank you for your interest in receiving business legal counseling through the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership (MCBL) in partnership with the Business Law Corps (BLC). Appointments with the BLC legal clinic are offered on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Each session is 30 minutes and is designed to answer specific questions and provide general guidance—not to review documents or provide long-term legal representation. This service is for Hawaii-based companies only.
The attorneys are experienced corporate lawyers and can assist with questions related to choice of entity, governance, and for-profit corporations, LLCs, and partnerships. If your topic is outside of these areas, the BLC may not be able to fully assist but will provide you with the best guidance possible and/or refer you to other resources.
Consultations are confidential. Be ready to discuss your priority questions and take notes during the session. You are welcome to schedule additional appointments for other questions or topics as needed. All legal counseling is conducted remotely by phone.
