SEED Intern/Team Lead Application

The Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen (OEDK) invites applications for SEED (Summer Experience in Engineering Design), a seven-week, hands-on summer internship open to currently enrolled Rice undergraduate students.

SEED INTERN POSITION

Undergraduate students in engineering majors who have previously taken ENGI 120 are strongly encouraged to apply. Students from other majors or with alternative design experience are also welcome to apply.

TEAM LEAD POSITION

SEED also offers a Team Lead position to support program operations and the intern cohort. The Team Lead plays a key role in supporting team dynamics, logistics, and day-to-day program flow throughout the seven-week program. Strong candidates have design experience beyond EDES 120 and 200, which may include past SEED Interns or those who have completed other design internships.
