Award Criteria for The Impact Maker Awards. General Guidelines: Nomination Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by 11;59pm, September 1st. Notification: Finalists will be notified by September 10th. Eligibility: Nominees must be women business professionals. You may nominate yourself or another deserving individual. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Nominees must have a ticket or be registered guest AND be present at TheHOWConf 2026 on September 29th, 2026 to accept the award. Multiple Nominations: You may nominate the same person for more than one award, but each nomination requires a separate form. However, only one award will be given to an individual. If more than one nomination is made per form the nominee will be disqualified. Reassignment: TheHOWConf reserves the right to place a nominee in a different category if deemed more fitting. Complete Submission: All nomination forms must be fully completed to be considered. 2026 Impact Maker Awards. (1.) The Champion Award - Purpose: To honor an individual whose dedication, service, and leadership consistently uplift the people and communities around them. This award recognizes someone who leads with heart, shows up with intention, and makes a measurable difference through their actions. (2.) The Innovator Award - Purpose: To recognize a leader who has achieved standout success or created meaningful advancement within their industry over the past year. This award celebrates bold thinking, business excellence, and significant professional accomplishment. (3.) The Connector Award - Purpose: To celebrate the individual who builds powerful, authentic relationships and actively helps others succeed. This person strengthens businesses, networks, and communities by opening doors, sharing opportunities, and supporting others’ growth. (4.) The Empower Award (Nonprofit Category) Purpose: To honor a mission-driven nonprofit organization that embodies the HOW ethos of Helping Others Win. This award recognizes exceptional impact, service, and commitment to empowering individuals and communities. Make sure to fully complete each nomination form to ensure eligibility for these prestigious awards.
