    SUNDAY MAY 18th: 1 Ring ADGA Youth Combined Senior Junior Doe Show, Judge is Kelcie Wolboldt.  Be sure to sign up for the FREE Youth National Show Prep Clinic to follow the show taught by Hope & Faith Hitch. Show starts at 3pm. Check in ends at 2:30pm.

    Shows Start at 9AM. Check in ends at 8:30AM. All animals must be in place by 8AM.

    ADGA RULES SHALL GOVERN. BREED SHOW ORDER IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
    - The show is open to any eligible goat that is registered with ADGA, AGS or CGS.
    - The shows will be separately sanctioned for Youth Combined Senior/Junior Doe, Senior/Junior Combined Show and a Junior Doe Show.
    - The base date for the animals age will be May 18th, 2024.
    - Original Registration Certificates must be presented for verification at check in. Printed stamped duplicates will be accepted. The show will accept any changes that ADGA makes in regards to stamped duplicates and their expiration dates. Please verify that your animal has legible tattoos.
    - PENS: $5 each/4x6 pen. Pen space is limited and will be assigned in the order entries are received. NO Tack Pens.
    There is plenty space for tack outside of pens and parking under shade for those showing our of a trailer/no fee.
    - The show location is in Eastern Time Zone. Check in ends at 2:30pm Saturday for the Youth Show & 8:30AM Sunday for the Open Show.
    - ARRIVAL: Animals may arrive Friday 5pm-11pm, Sat 6am-11pm or Sun 6am-8am. No unloading of animals outside of those times.
    -Youth show 5/18 starts at 3pm.  Showmanship will be held on Sunday 5/19.                                                                                                         

    - Open Show starts at 9AM with Showmanship, Senior Combined Shows & then the Junior Doe Shows.
    - EARLY ENTRIES must be completed online by Midnight May 1st. Youth Show: $5 per goat.  Open Show Entry Fee: $12 per goat, (covers both Open Rings).  Payment must be received with entries. Any entries sent without payment will not be official and ineligible for the early entry discount.
    - Do not enter JM Class. This class will only be utilized if a Junior Doe is needed for numbers in the Combined Show.
    - LATE ENTRIES**: Any entry postmarked or completed online May 2nd to May 17th, will be YOUTH SHOW $10 per entry and OPEN SHOW $25 per entry. (NO DAY OF ENTRIES ACCEPTED**)
    **Exhibitors that have met the pre-entry deadline of can add additional animals at the pre-entry rate on show day.**
    - Substitutions within the same breed and division (Senior Combined Does or Junior Does) only.
    - No Dogs are allowed in the barns or in the ring. No smoking in the buildings or in the barns.
    - Health Certificates: Animals originating in Kentucky must have a Health Certificate/CVI issued in 2024. All out of State animals must have a Health Certificate/CVI issued 30 days or less from show day. No sick animals allowed, No open abscesses, ringworm, sore mouth, etc. will be allowed to unload or exhibit. State Vet's Office will be in attendance.
    - All goats winning Grand Champion are required to stay until Best in Show has concluded. Those not winning Grand Champion are welcome to leave at any time after they are done showing but are encouraged to stay to cheer on and help fellow exhibitors.

  • Goat entry details

    Please fill out this section for the 1 Ring Youth Senior Combined Show to be held on May 18th & 2 Ring ADGA Show to be held on May 19th in Frankfort, KY. Judges are Kelcie Wolboldt (Youth & Open) & Katie Jackson DVM (Open).

    • Please fill in the boxes below for each goat you plan to enter into the show. 
    • Please type your goats Name, Registration Number, Tattoos, DOB & Ownership details as it appears on their registration papers. 
    • Entry Fees: 
    • YOUTH:  Early Entry is $5 per goat.  Late Entry is $10 per goat.
    • OPEN: 1 entry fee covers both Open Show Judges. Early Entry is $12 per goat.  Late Entry is $25 per goat. Online entry and payment must be recieved by Midnight May 1st (April 15th for Seperate Breed Sanction).  Late Entries (anything postmarked or submitted online May 2nd to April 17th NO DAY OF ENTRIES**). Payment MUST be processed before entries are official. 
    • ** NO DAY OF ENTRIES. The only exception is if you have already entered at least 1 animal before the pre-entry deadline, you can add additional animals at the pre-entry rate.

    Waiting on registration papers for goats? No problem: Please add any goat you plan to enter even if you are waiting on their papers, place "pending" for the registration number. FRIENDLY REMINDER that the ADGA Guidebook states all goats must be tattooed BEFORE they are registered. 

    QUICK TIP: If you have an online ADGA account you can pull up your owner's list under "look up a goat" then simply copy and paste those details in the boxes below where applicable, this can save you lots of time and helps ensure accuracy.     

     

  • Nubian Specialty

    If you are a Nubian Breeder, you are in luck!!!! We were awarded the Nubian Specialty!!! The Nubian Specialty will be held on Saturday April 24th under Judge Don Bergfield. Special Ribbons provided by INBA will be given out :) So get all your Nubians together and lets have a great time!!!!
  • Cost of entry

    How to fill out costs: Count up the number of goats you have entered on this form. You would then put your total number of goats entered under the quantity for (Early Entry: $5 per goat, Youth Show.  $12 per goat, Open Show. Late Entry: $10 per head Youth Show.  $25 per goat, Open Show).

    Be aware that small shows like this need all the Goats we can get to make sanction numbers official!  So please check with the Show Chair before leaving anyone home that you have already pre-entered. 

    Pens: Pen Space is limited and will be assigned in order of entries recieved.  PENS MUST BE ORDERED AND PAID FOR NLT MAY 1st!  We must pick up, transport and hand set each pen, which takes a great deal of time.  

    4x6 feet - $5 each 

    NO TACK PENS - There will be plenty of room to set up milk stands, etc outside of the pens. 

    Showing out of your trailer: Yes, you can show out of your trailer at no cost :)
