The MN Craft Brewers Guild is proud to announce 2024 CBC Scholarships to help Guild members offset the cost of attending the upcoming Craft Brewers Conference.

Scholarship Details: Four scholarships of $300 will be awarded in the form of a registration or travel/lodging reimbursement. The EDU Committee and MNCBG staff will award the scholarships blind. Recipients will be selected based on need and on our goal of supporting a variety of MN craft breweries and brewpubs. Only one CBC scholarship per business per year will be awarded.

Eligibility: Any employee (PT or FT) of a MNCBG brewery, brewpub, or brewery-in-planning member is welcome to apply. Only full-conference registrations or related travel/lodging costs are eligible for this scholarship. Individuals may apply on behalf of themselves if their business is not planning to send them to CBC; businesses may apply on behalf of their staff.

Reimbursement Process: Applications will be reviewed in early January. (We try to alert winners before the Early-early bird discount period expires; this date is not currently known.) To claim the reimbursement, awardees will need to show a receipt of CBC registration, flight purchase, hotel booking, etc. The Guild will send a $300 check upon receipt of CBC registration.

If we've already registered/haven't already registered, are we still eligible?
Yes. The reimbursal can be applied to registrations made at any time. We encourage breweries to register for CBC by the early-early-Bird discount pricing deadline to get the best price on registrations.

What if we haven't renewed by the date the awardees are decided?
Only active members of the Guild are eligible for a scholarship. If your brewery is selected as an awardee but you have not yet renewed for 2025, your scholarship will not be provided until your renewal for 2025 is complete.

Why does the Guild offer this scholarship?
The Guild is pleased to be able to provide this membership benefit as part of our mission to promote, protect, and grow a robust MN craft brewing industry. The CBC Scholarship helps member staff access nationally renowned professional development and networking opportunities.
