GIFT AID DECLARATION

If you are a UK taxpayer, and sign the Gift Aid declaration, every £1 you give will be worth £1.25 to the school. It will only take a moment and will give an extra boost to our funds.

Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.  

I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Please notify the Archer Academy if you:

• want to cancel this declaration
• change your name or home address
• no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

Gift Aid Terms and Conditions

To donate under the Gift Aid scheme you must be a UK taxpayer and have paid an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount of tax reclaimed by all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs on all your donations in the tax year (6 April one year to 5th April the next.) We currently receive an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. Other taxes such as Council Tax and VAT do not qualify. To agree to Gift Aid, please ensure you have ticked yes on the form above. Please note that we can only claim tax on donations made from a personal bank or building society account. We cannot claim Gift Aid on donations made from company accounts. By ticking the box you are confirming that the amount donated is a personal donation to the Archer Academy and is not a collection or sponsorship payment. Please let us know if your tax circumstances or name/address change, so that we can update our records.
