Story Submissions

At least two story submissions must have been written in the last 12 months. Submissions must be uploaded as a PDF or .jpg file. Date of publication MUST be included on the submission
Media Outlets You Have Written For Within the Last Two Years*
You can list up to five outlets.
Please provide copies of articles that best represent you as a journalist. Writing samples from a range of media outlets is highly preferred. Plus, make sure the content inspires travel and/or is destination-centric whenever possible. If you have visited and written about a MATPRA destination, we encourage you to share a story you produced as a result of that visit. At least two articles must have been written within the last 12 months.

NOTE: Due to newspapers and other media outlets requiring subscriptions to view your work, in recent years we have been unable to access some submissions. To make the submission process more fair to the applicants, we are requesting your submission in a PDF or jpg format to upload below.
- Workaround - Print your article from your computer to a PDF by changing the printer setting to "Print to File" or "Print to PDF". Once you generate the file or PDF, upload that below, or...
- Using an iPad or tablet, take a clear, readable photo of the article and upload the picture file in a JPG format in the tab below.
