Agreement To Terms And Conditions*

The following constitutes the Videography Agreement (the “Agreement”) of Document The Wedding (the “Videographer”). Please read the Agreement in its entirety and contact the Videographer if you have any questions or concerns about the Agreement. As used in the Agreement, all references to “you” or “your” or the “Client” refers to the signer of this Agreement. Checking the boxes and entering your name below will serve as your electronic signature reflecting your assent to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. You will be able to preview the Agreement prior to its submission, at which time you are encouraged to print a copy for your records.

Exclusivity*

It is understood that Document The Wedding is the exclusive Videographer retained by the client to cover this wedding/event. Any conflicts with other video or photographic coverage contracts and any notifications necessary to avoid such conflicts are the sole responsibility of the client. Document The Wedding is not responsible or obligated to abide by any contracts other than this one.

Permits And Insurance*

Client assumes all responsibilities for obtaining any necessary permission, clearance permits, etc., which may be required. Client is responsible to obtain liability insurance certificate from Document The Wedding if required by any of the venues for videographers.

Accommodations*

If the driving time to the venue exceeds 2 houts, then the Videographer may ask the Client for a motel/hotel room to stay the night of the wedding. If the Client wishes, the Videographer could arrange for the accommodation. The Client assumes the cost of the basic room charge (and taxes/fees) for the accommodation. The videographer pays for any other expenses (such as food).

Video And Audio Quality (You Must Check ALL)*

Document The Wedding will record the ceremony with up to 14 microphones but can not guarantee audio quality if microphones and sound systems used to amplify voices are not used.Document The Weddding can not guarantee video quality if the venue(s) has/have inadequate lighting or the videographer is not allowed to use camera top lighting equipment.

Contracted Time *

The arrival time as stated above for payment purposes starts at the ceremony. The videographer typically arrives 1 1/2 to 2 hours before that time and you are not charged until the time specified above. You may vary the total length of time required in either direction before or during the wedding

Copyright*

Retention of Document The Wedding is a 'work for hire'. You own the copyrights of all products/files generated by Document The Wedding associated with your project (except the music used for the slideshow).

Artistic Style*

Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the Document The Wedding's portfolio and that the overall shooting style and delivery of products are in accordance with the 'documentary' and not 'cinematic' wedding videography styles.

Inability To Shoot Video (You Must Check ALL)*

The client understands and agrees that should the video not be shot due to the videographer being sick, a death or near-death in the immediate family, is in an auto accident or breakdown in transit to the wedding, or if the equipment malfunctions before or during the wedding and can not be substituted for, fixed, or replaced, then all the money paid to the videographer (including the retainer) will be fully refunded and the client agrees not to hold the videographer further liable in any way for monetary or other damages.In the case of a malfunction, if the client wishes a full refund, then they will not be entitled to any products already created at the wedding.

Payments (You Must Check ALL)*

The client has up to 3 days after signing the contract to cancel for a full refundThe retainer fee is required to fully book. Without the retainer fee the date can still be booked by someone else. The retainer fee must be received within 2 weeks after signing this contract. After that, the videographer can cancel this contract at any time. Without a retainer fee, the videographer will not attend/shoot the wedding.If the client cancels the contract a week or more before the wedding, they will forfeit the retainer fee as described above unless that date is rebooked with another eventIf the client cancels the contract with less than a week before the wedding, they are responsible for the full fee/amountThe client agrees to pay the balance owed in full within two weeks of the time they are informed all the deliverables are ready. If that occurs while they are on their honeymoon, they will have up to two weeks from the day they return. The balance can not be paid in installments. If paid 30 or more days late, they amount due is subject to a late fee of $50 or 15% of the total whichever is greaterThe client understands that the only allowed forms of payment are a personal check, credit card, or Paypal
