Pet ownership can be expensive but the value animals bring into our lives is priceless. To help keep people with their pets, the Edmonton Humane Society is pleased to provide a Pet Pantry to assist individuals facing financial barriers to feeding their pets and providing basic necessities.

Please note: Clients must be approved. An application do not guarentee access to the program however, we will do our best to assist or provide alternatives.

Approved clients must be able to travel to our facility for pick-up.
Delivery is not available

To be considered for assistance, applicants must:
- Be the owner of the animal(s) and be over 18 years of age
- Provide valid proof of government ID

I understand and acknowledge that only one member per household can participate in the program at any given timeI understand and acknowledge that only the client on file may collect supplies. Supplies may be provided once a month for up to 12 months (cumulatively) without needing to re-apply or provide additional documents.I understand and acknowledge that the EHS Admitting team will reach out to book an initial pick-up appointment. Future appointments are the responsibility of the client to schedule by contacting EHS at least one week in advance of the requested need date.I understand that if accepted to the program, support is available by appointment ONLY - walk ins will not be acceptedI understand and acknowledge that clients MUST bring their punch-card and a piece of government issued photo ID to their appointment to pick-up provided suppliesI understand and acknowledge that this program is exclusively meant to support animals documented at the time of the application. EHS will not support newly acquired animals or offspring from existing animals added to the household after the application has been submitted.I understand and acknowledge that EHS may not always have the food/supplies requested due to limitations of resources or demands on the program. EHS will work to provide substitutions when possible.I understand and acknowledge that EHS reserves the right to deny or terminate assistance at their discretion.
We offer other pet supplies, such as cat litter, pee pads, collars, leashes, carriers, treats, etc. If you would like to add other pet supplies, such as the ones listed or others that are not listed, please indicate in the details below. Please note that the availability of specific supplies may vary depending on our stock.
