BOOKING POLICY
To book any service, we require a non-refundable retainer fee to reserve the requested date & respective time slots. This fee counts toward your total balance for services, and the amount would depend upon which service is booked. No service will be scheduled without a retainer fee. Simply submitting this inquiry form does not secure your date.
HOW TO PAY & PAYMENT INFO
The retainer fee is paid remotely from your location via electronic payment invoice. Any and all payments are non-refundable. We use square to issue payment invoices and also accept Venmo and Cash App for payment.
IN-STUDIO POLICIES & GUEST RESTRICTIONS
Please bear in mind there are multiple artists in our studio; due to limited space in the waiting room, we recommend coming alone to your studio appointments to maximize comfort for all clients. Clients who bring more than 1 person with them will be asked to come back at a later time slot with the correct amount of persons (if available.) Children under the age of 12 are not permitted without consent of artist due to studio hazards and liability. If artist consents, Bella Vita Artistry and all associates are not liable for any injuries or losses that may occur. Failure to follow these policies may result in your appointment being rescheduled to another day entirely.
CANCELLATIONS & TARDINESS
You may cancel services at anytime, however doing so forfeits any and all retainer fees or payments made. The retainer fee for any service is non-refundable, but refunds may be issued at artist's discretion in situations where artist is unable to complete services at no fault of the client. For studio appointments, there is a $10 rescheduling fee associated with switching any dates or times after retainer fee for services has been paid and appointment has been added to schedule. No exclusions. Retainer fees forfeited may not be counted towards any other services or remaining balances. For bridal bookings, client has up to 3 months prior to make changes or cancel services without penalty remaining or outstanding balances for bridal services canceled less than 3 months prior to ceremony are to be rendered upon notice of cancellation. There is a late fee of $25.00 for every 15 minutes tardy for in-studio appointments. After 15 minutes, we reserve the right to refuse service completely depending on the set schedule for the day. If you choose not to show up for your appointment after the retainer fee has been paid, you forfeit any and all payments towards your service.
ADDITIONAL FEES & INFO
$250 ASSISTANT OR SECOND ARTIST FEE
For bridal parties with 8 or more people requiring makeup services, 6 or more people requiring hair services, or bridal parties with time constraints, an assistant or second artist fee of $250 would be assessed. Upon payment, a second artist or assistant will be secured to assist or split services with the lead artist. This option is mandatory for larger parties in order to lessen the workload, and help things run smoother for you and your bridal party on the day of.
$100 EARLY START FEE
For bridal parties with timelines starting before 8am for one or more artists (including the drive time to your location,) an early start fee of $100 per artist will be applied to your final balance.
$100 EXTENSION CONSULTATION FEE
A paid consultation is required for all clients interested in clip-in hair extensions to be used on the wedding day or bridal preview. Virtual consultations are available as well for clients who are not local to hampton roads, va. Clip in extensions are beneficial for clients with shorter hair, a thinner hair texture, or for premium styles requiring tons of length and volume, such as hollywood waves.
PRE-WEDDING SERVICE REQUIREMENT
All services prior to wedding day are done at one of our studio locations unless otherwise specified. On location previews are available for an additional $150 plus mileage fee.
