Per the Redwood City Municipal Code, the following eligibility criteria must be met in order to serve:
Architectural Advisory Committee: Must be at least 18 years of age, live or work in the City of Redwood City, and be a licensed architect or landscape architect.
Historic Resources Advisory Committee: Must be at least 18 years of age, at least four members must be residents of the City of Redwood City, and all members must be associated with such professions, disciplines, or interests such as:
Members of the Redwood City Heritage Association or other preservation related organizations, architects or design professionals (no license required), structural engineers, urban planners or landscape architects, attorneys or real estate experts, educators with background in history, members of community groups or residents within historic districts, occupants of historic landmarks or owners of historic sites, or residents with a demonstrated interest in Redwood City historic preservation.
Police Advisory Committee: Must be at least 16 years of age and be a resident of Redwood City or be employed in Redwood City at the time of appointment for the duration of their appointment.
All applications shall provide proof of employment if not residents of the City of Redwood City.
