1.PART OF CHAPTER HOUSE ROOM SUBLEASE: This Transfer Addendum forms a part of the Sublease between Landlord and Occupant. RIGHT TO TERMINATE: In the event this said transfer is deemed unsuitable or harmful to the above-mentioned
2. Landlord, the Landlord has the right, without payment of any fee or penalty, to terminate this transfer agreement and Tenant will be required to return to his original room assignment
3. OCCUPANT RESPONSIBLE UNDER LEASE: Occupant will remain fully responsible for payment of all Rent and charges and performance of all obligations under the Sublease until the effective date of Occupant's Sublease in accordance with this Transfer Addendum
4. VERIFICATION: On request, the Occupant will provide the Landlord with additional documents as needed
5. MISCELLANEOUS: Except as modified by this Transfer Addendum, the Sublease is unmodified and in full force and effect
6.REQUEST FOR TRANSFER; Occupant must submit in writing a request 60 days prior to the transfer. If Occupant transfers without Landlord's approval the Occupant may be required to move back to the original unit and an additional $150.00 fee will be assessed.
7.INSPECTION: Prior to transfer unit is subject to a move-out inspection and fee of any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
8.TRANSFER FEES/RATES: A $150.00 transfer fee will apply and payable at the time of request. The rental rate, as deemed in the original Sublease document, could be subject to change if unit specifications vary from the original Sublease.
9. OTHER TERMS: Occupant must be in good standing with no outstanding balances or Sublease violations.
10. PROCEDURE: If the Occupant is granted approval to transfer rooms, the following procedure must be followed by the Occupant. The Occupant must pack and box all of their belongings to the center of the room labeled with their names in their existing unit to have the space inspected by the Manager. This includes all wall decorations, items out of drawers/closets, all provided furniture easily accessible and viewable, and return their room key to the house director/house manager. Any items that do not follow this procedure will be deemed as trash and disposed of. The Occupant will be permitted to move rooms to their new unit upon RPG approval based on an established date (commonly the Spring term winter break opening date). No items may be permitted to move into the new unit without RPG approval including no items being stored in the new unit. Any items in the new unit will be deemed trash and disposed of.
