What does a Grade Coordinator do?
1. Lead communicator with Grade lead teacher
Discuss party dates, field trips, party details, tshirt colors and designs. (Each grade has 4 parties: Fall, Winter, Valentines and End of Year)
Stay in communication ALL year with teachers
2. Setup communication with ALL room reps. (There should be 2 per homeroom.) Usually by fb, text thread or APP called GroupMe
Get to know ALL parents of grade, if possible
3. Organize and handle all funds received from year donations.
Keep receipts for parties and reimburse purchase for parties
4. Set up or assume responsibility of bank account for grade. (Texas Trust CCU is set for 2024 - 2031. *The year they graduate 6th grade.*)
5. Design or find someone to design year tshirt.
Record sizes of all students and teachers.
Order tshirts
Organize tshirts to be given to students
6. Organize all parties including parents responbilities, crafts, games, food, etc
7. Prepare the event list of food, drink, games/crafts and send for approval to Mrs Longoria and Nurse Nelson
8. Be at ALL parties, field day if possible, on field trip if possible.
