  • Dear prospective candidate,

Thank you for taking an interest in being a part of the Harlandale High school Spirit Organization.  As an active team member you will be expected to set an outstanding example of leadership, spirit and pride throughout the school.  The Spirit program takes on the responsibility of being the faces of our High School, always representing our school name with pride.

The tryouts for becoming a member of the Golden Dancers or Indianette Cheerleaders will be a learning experience and we will take candidates through every step of the tryout process in order to prepare them to be judged by a certified panel of judges. Please remember that all judge’s scores will be final.

Before tryout out, please consider that being a part of spirit is a yearlong commitment. Unlike other sports that end after their season is over, spirit has four seasons and Each season in spirit takes a large amount of practice, time, and commitment.

Season 1: Summer camp and technical training Season

2: Football and volleyball season Season

3: Winter- Competition and basketball season Season

4: Spring-Competition, tryouts, Spring Show, and banquet

  • A MANDITORY virtual Parent Meeting will take place at 6pm in the HHS cafeteria on March 21st. All forms must be turned in before 4pm the first day of clinic in order to tryout. If you do not have your packet complete and required documents, you will NOT be allowed to try out.
