    WeBreak Hip-Hop Dance Company is a b-boy owned company that teaches advanced breaking curriculum to the youth. We are consistently hiring for our expanding Southern California & Las Vegas regions. Breaking experience is required for all listed positions.
  • This application will take about 30 minutes to complete - please read the descriptions at the top of each section before inputting your answers, in order to fully understand what WeBreak is looking for from applying individuals.

  • Qualifying Questions

    WeBreak will consider the following information to ensure you are a good fit - please answer honestly and thoroughly.

    • Having your own reliable car will be extremely important due to the mobile nature of our business.

  • Breaking Experience

    Breaking experience is required for all listed positions. Please provide more details about your personal breaking experience, and other experiences within the breaking community.

  • Teaching Experience

    Prior teaching experience is not mandatory, but preferred. WeBreak provides paid training to all instructors - you start teaching classes by yourself after you have been fully trained (takes up to 60 days to complete). We are looking for b-boys and b-girls, with or without teaching experience who are teachable, team players, communicative, and actively motivated to train.

  • WeBreak Hours, Benefits & Pay

    All instructors are W-2 employees, with consistent hours, and are paid bi-weekly. The starting pay is $18 an hour (this is negotiable based on your breaking AND teaching experience) - training is paid. Each WeBreak region's available hours and instructor demands differ. Most instructors will start with 5 hours per week, and then build up their hours as we obtain more class contracts; if there is high demand in your region, we can guarantee more hours upfront.   • WeBreak's Usual Class Hours:

    • Preschool classes (Monday-Friday, 1 hour between 9 AM - 12 PM)
    • Afterschool classes (Monday-Friday, 1-2 hours between 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
    • Week-day studio class (week-day night, 2 hours, around 5 PM - 7 PM)
    • Weekend studio class (Saturday, 2 hours from 9 AM - 11 AM)
    • WeBreak Crew (week-day night, 2 hours, around 6 PM - 8 PM)

  • Two Year Commitment / Career Goals

    Because WeBreak works with schools and students on a session long-term basis, not individual classes, we ask our instructors to commit to at least two years of teaching. We understand things can come up in life, but we are looking for individuals who are motivated to, and/or are in the position to commit to working with WeBreak for a minimum of two years.
