• TOMBSTONE ARTIST RESIDENCY 2023 APPLICATION FORM

  • About Tombstone Territorial Park: Tombstone Territorial Park / Ddhäl Ch'èl Cha Nän is situated within a spectacular sub-arctic wilderness, comprised of craggy mountain ridges, unglaciated Beringian uplands, and permafrost tundra. Tombstone lies within the Traditional Territory of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation and is a legacy of their land claim agreement.

About the residency: Presented in partnership by Friends of Dempster Country, Yukon Arts Centre and Yukon Parks, artists are invited to develop and share their artistic practice in Tombstone’s magnificent wilderness setting. The residency provides a unique opportunity for artists to immerse themselves in the sub-arctic landscape of Tombstone Territorial Park / Ddhäl Ch'èl Cha Nän to gain new inspiration and push their artistic practice.  It is a time for connection- with oneself, with the public, and with the natural and cultural history of this incredibly special place.
