Terms & Conditions
Please read over and agree to our terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to send us a message. These are in place to ensure mutual satisfaction and protection in the event of any discrepancies or damage. Effective November 9, 2023.
1. PHOTOS
(1.a) We take walk in & walk out photos of the areas where work is done. Examples: close ups of any damages, a “big picture” photo of the room (usually taken from the door), before and afters of work we are especially proud of, etc. This protects you & us in the event of any discrepancies / damages and can provide us with some amazing result photos. (1.b) These photos will be stored on a secure device. (1.c) We are always mindful of personal items and information. (1.d) We will not share these photos on social media or with anybody unless you give permission to do so.

2. BOOKINGS, DEPOSITS & MILEAGE
(2.a) We require a minimum of 3 hours per booking unless otherwise agreed upon (2.b) A 50% deposit may be requested prior to start of services. (2.c) All move in/out and one time deep cleans will require a non refundable $50 deposit which will be applied towards your invoice upon completion of services. (2.d) If service location is farther than a 15km radius you will be charged a mileage fee of $0.58/km to and from your service location - *this will be discussed with you prior to booking, and rate is subject to change with notice*
3. SATISFACTION
(3.a) If you are not satisfied with your services please advise us within 24 hours and we will work with you to find the best solution. Your satisfaction is our priority. (3.b) Failure to advise us of dissatisfaction within 24 hours may limit our ability to resolve the issue.
4. SAFETY & RESPECT
(4.a) aggressive or inappropriate behaviour and language will not be tolerated and will result in termination of services. (4.b) Please ensure we are aware of any foreseeable safety hazards such as aggressive animals, general worksite safety hazards, faulty equipment, etc. (4.c) When we are working in your home we will not answer your door unless you have requested a sit in service for such or have given us permission to do so. (4.d) Please advise us of pets & residents who will be onsite during a residential clean.
5. PRIVACY
We respect your privacy and ensure confidentiality. (5.a) We will never share photos without consent. (5.b) We will never enter any areas of your home that are not necessary for services requested.
6. PAYMENT
(6.a) payment must be paid in full by 11:59pm on the date of services - unless a payment schedule has been approved. (6.b) Payment not received by 11:59pm on date of services and without proper notice may result in a $25 late fee added to your invoice (6.c) payment can be made via cash or email money transfer. (6.d) if payment is missed we will make 1 attempt to remind you we understand that things can be overlooked and life is busy. (6.e) Intentional failure to pay will result in termination of services and may result in legal action.
7. CANCELATIONS
(7.a) If you need to cancel services please give as much notice as possible so we can fill your spot. (7.b) Currently we do not enforce a cancellation fee (7.c) Recurring cancellations may result in you being moved off of our recurring client roster.
8. SUPPLIES
(8.a) We provide all cleaning supplies, however we do ask that you provide your own vacuum & mop. This stops cross contamination between households and the possible exposure to allergens. (8.b) We make all reasonable efforts to use the least toxic cleaners but on occasion a stronger product may be required. These are usually limited but not always limited to Bar Keepers Friend, Toilet bowl cleaner, Dawn Power Wash & Bon Ami. (8.c) It is your responsibility to advise us if you have any sensitivities regarding cleaning products.
9. INFESTATIONS
(9.a) Task & Tidy Co. reserves the right to decline unsafe work requests such as working in an infested environment. (9.b) If you are aware of invasive pests in your home such as bed bugs, cockroaches, or lice you must advise and not book with us until extermination or treatment is complete. (9.c) Failure to do so will result in immediate termination of services and fees to compensate discarded supplies and time.
