Greetings Shaw Bears,
I hope this email finds you doing well. As many of you are aware, the University is seeking support for the rezoning project, which would allow for the establishment of a ShawU District in downtown Raleigh. Accordingly to the University’s website, “The ShawU District – owned and controlled by the University – envisions and reimagines the campus and its facilities to model a new era of HBCU innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship for students”.
The University has asked me for the position of the National Alumni Association and whether we support or disapprove of the rezoning project. One of my key priorities was to be transparent as your NAA President. I believe the position of the NAA should be based on feedback from its members.
I ask that you please complete this brief survey to share your feedback on the rezoning project. This survey will allow me to gauge the feelings of the alumni community.
