VOLUNTEER SERVICE COMMITMENT

As a member of the MLMS community, your volunteer service hours are vital to the success of our school and your child's experience. Each family is required to give 20 hours of service as stated in your School Handbook. You may choose to fulfill those in any of the following ways or pay a $200 fee in lieu of service. If all spaces are left blank, we will assume you would be willing to help in any area. Remember, volunteering for your family is not limited to parents/guardians. We welcome grandparents and extended family members as well.

Community members are invited to share their expertise with students. Help us bring lessons and learning to life! If someone in your family has a vocation, hobby or skill that would be a useful addition to our classrooms, please volunteer to share. Whether it is knitting, a foreign language, or your daily work, we would love to have you volunteer to teach our students.

We choose to contribute $200 instead of performing the volunteer hours.*

As stated in our MLMS School Handbook, we understand that we must fulfill a 20-hour service commitment between July 1st and June 30th of the academic year for which this Volunteer Commitment applies or pay a $200 fee instead by July 1st of the same year. If the full 20 hours are not completed prior to June 30th, I will be invoiced for the remainder of the unfulfilled hours.
