Net Zero Leadership Interview Nomination
Do you have an impactful net zero leadership story to share? In 2024, we aim to ‘Race’ to Zero by spotlighting the leadership of Race to Zero Partners and members in implementing credible, net-zero action and catalysing change. We invite you to nominate non-state actors who are demonstrating leadership in implementing the Race to Zero criteria - 5Ps - to take part in a series of story-telling pieces about their experience advancing climate action. We are looking to hear from leaders who, through developing ambitious transition plans, have catalysed change within their organisation, across their value chain, in their communities, cities and regions - and even wider! We hope to hear from leaders who have increased their ambition and made faster progress on their targets; who have ramped up support for nature positive action and delivering a just transition; and/or who have aligned their advocacy with the Paris Agreement. We want to know what solutions they developed, what challenges they overcame and what lessons they learned to inspire others also on the journey of our lives. And we also want to know what benefit - expected or not - advancing credible net-zero action had for organisation or subnational government. In particular, we want to hear from leaders from underrepresented regions in the Race, women leaders, youth leaders and indigenous peoples. Nominated leaders will be invited to take part in communications' activations including: A leadership interview with our 'Story-telling Lead'; Invitation to contribute to a Race to Zero leadership video ahead of COP29.
