Welcome to the Notable North Atlantic Region's digitally immersive newsletter, The F.I.R.S.T. Edition! The F.I.R.S.T. Edition is a quarterly publication that aims to highlight how the North Atlantic Region answers the call of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Entries for consideration will undergo a review of their adherence to submission guidelines.
- Graduate/Undergraduate Chapters: Content from graduate and undergraduate chapters must be submitted by the chapter’s Ivy Leaf Reporter or Basileus via the submission jotform. Please be advised that before an undergraduate chapter completes the submission jotform, all content must be approved by their Graduate Advisor.
- General Members: General Members must complete the submission jotform directly.
CONTENT MUST FOLLOW THESE SPECIFIC GUIDELINES FOR CONSIDERATION:
ENTRY LIMIT: 1 pillar category only (i.e. FELLOWSHIP, INNOVATION, RESPECT, SERVE OR THRIVE)
ARTICLES: Each chapter is limited to 1 article. The article must be a double-spaced, typed word document (12 pt font Times New Roman), and include a title and the author’s name. The article must not exceed 200 words nor contain photos or any special graphics applied. AN ARTICLE IS MANDATORY.
PHOTOS: Chapters are allowed to submit a maximum of three photos of sorors in action. All photos must be .jpeg or .png hi-resolution files. No collages or digital/logo flyers.
VIDEO: Chapters may submit a link of one video formatted in YouTube or Vimeo (minimum of 1-minute to 2-minutes maximum) per issue. The link must be unlisted or public; and non-password protected).
AUDIO: Chapters may submit a link of one audio file formatted in Spotify or Soundcloud (minimum of 1-minute to 2-minutes maximum) per issue. The link must be unlisted or public; and non-password protected).
- A submission MUST include an article
- A submission DOES NOT have to include each media element (video, photos, or audio) to be considered.
- A submission CAN include all media elements, if desired.
