  • Time Commitment

  • Please note that weekday morning shifts at the Garden tend to be busier times for children, youth, and families to visit the Garden. We recommend that if you like interacting with visitors of all ages (especially PreK to elementary-aged students) that you have availability for morning shifts. Weekday afternoon shifts at the Garden tend to be quieter. Weekends are quite variable, especially depending on the weather and time of year – some days can be very busy, and some are quiet and calm.

Kiosk volunteer shifts are scheduled April 15-October 15 at the following times: Monday-Friday 10am-12:30pm and 12:30-3:30pm, with an additional shift on Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm.

    Saturday and Sunday 10:00am-12:30pm, 12:30-3pm and 3-5:30pm.

Please list your general availability including: available days of the week, available shift times, and desired number of shifts per month. We ask that you volunteer for a minimum of 8 shifts per season.

A mandatory training must be completed before you can begin volunteering.
