  • Welcome to the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) application!

    Congratulations on taking the first step in growing closer to our Lord Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church which He established more than 2 millenia ago. 

    Everyone journeys at their own pace and we respect your discernment as you heed the voice of Christ throughout these sessions. This application helps us know how best to journey with you.

    If you desire to learn more about the Catholic faith and are considering whether or not you would like to receive the Sacraments, please fill out this form. If you want to help a loved one enter this journey, please have them fill out this form as there are questions only they can answer.

  • Eventually, you will need to provide an authorized copy of your Birth Certificate. If you do not have one, please contact the government where you were born to request a copy [For US born citizens: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/w2w/index.htm]. Requests can take a few months to fulfill and fees vary according to country and state.

  • Copies of your Baptism and First Holy Communion Certificates will be required eventually. If you do not have these, please contact the Catholic Church where you were baptized and request copies. Requests can take up to a few months to fulfill.

  • Scheduling your Initial Meeting

    Now that you've completed the application, please the days and timeframes that work for you to meet with the OCIA Coordinator. The meeting generally takes thirty minutes to an hour. It just depends on how much you would like to share. The OCIA Coordinator will email you to provide a few options for your appointment.
