Training Staff Overview
To apply to become a member of the TPC Training Team, applicants must meet the following qualifications prior to applying.
Responsibilities:
- Remain in communication with the TPC DPT & D-DPT.
- Administer training sessions with TPC Student Pilots.
- Attend staff meetings as necessary.
- Meet the training activity requirement specified in the TPC Instructor Policy.
- Document & grade live practice flights conducted with students.
- Participate in extra responsibilities called by the TPC DPT.
Requirements:
- Holds a VATSIM P1 rating or higher.
- Must exercise excellent oral and written communication skills (including the ability to speak fluent English).
- Has a good standard of aviation knowledge and a passion for teaching and
developing VATSIM pilots.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must stay in communication with the ATO DPT and D-DPT.
- Be an active member of the TPC Discord server for a minimum of 14 days.

*Trainee flight instructors will not be subject to certain roles/permissions until being certified by the TPC DPT.
