OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: # 1
FRIDAY 3.00 PM. Bus tour of Port of Tauranga accompanied by a senior official to act as host. Minimum number required is 20. Ideal for those arriving earlier in the day. Tour will last 90 minutes and you will see massive machinery handling forestry products as well as bulk raw materials being unloaded. Tour will include Sulphur Point container terminal.

Port authority requires that visitors provide proof of identity, such as passport/driver’s license.

SATURDAY 9.30 AM. Bus Tour of the ever-growing Tauranga area plus visit to a local artisan Kevin McCardell, Timbersculptures and the historic House, The Elms. Minimum number required 30. There will be a stop for morning tea at own cost. Approx 3.0 hours starting at 9.30am. Price includes admission to both venues above.
