Fine Vines 2023

Margaret River Fine Vines Festival will return in spring 2023 from 20-29 October to celebrate the brilliant wine, food and people of the Margaret River Wine Region.

AHOY Management are strictly accepting Expressions of Interest between February 16, 2023 and May 4, 2023. Please read through the 2022 Fine Vines feedback below when considering your event concepts for 2023.

2023 Dates: Friday 20th October - Sunday 29th October, 2023.

What we are looking for:

Businesses interested in creating and implementing a suitable and unique wine event for the Fine Vines Festival brand, which is exclusive to the program and not available at any other time of the year.
A mix of free-entry (pay-as-you-go) and ticketed events.
Events that hero our locals and local stories.
Events that are unique to the program, aren't currently being offered to your wine club and not currently being run by your team in other parts of W.A.

Fine Vines 2022 Feedback:

Guests loved the diversity of the program and the range of events from stand up social to decadent sit down.
Open Vineyards was once again a stand-out event on the program and we will be looking to bring this back in 2023.
Guests would like to see more long lunches on the 2023 program more than any other event concept.
Followed by food and beverage specials at participating venues, party/casual style events and live music.

Cost:

Fine Vines Festival works with a two-tier marketing fee approach to ensure small-style venues and producers can participate in the program, while working towards a sustainable event structure that will allow Fine Vines to continue in the future. Please get in contact with festival organisers to discuss which tier is right for you.

Intimate Event - $500 plus GST

Inclusion under the Fine Vines Festival umbrella and associated marketing.
Inclusion in the Fine Vines printed program
Dedicated event page on the Fine Vines website, including ticket link
Ticket sales setup on Humanitix and all ticket sales management
Setup of a Facebook Event Page
At least one (1) boosted/paid post on Facebook and Instagram
2 x tickets to Fine Vines launch party (event details TBC)
Risk Management Plan template
At least one (1) face-to-face meeting with event management team
Face to Face meetings with Event Organisers, as well as ongoing communication and support with planning, marketing, promotion and rollout of event
Corflute Directional signage

Large-scale events - $900 plus GST

Large-scale events receive all associated benefits of Intimate Events, plus:
Promotion of your event and relevant business news/imagery through selected marketing activities (social media, public relations, advertising)
Confirmed Photographer and Videographer at your event
Your event pitched to media
Larger event listing in program (1/2 page)
4 x invites to the Launch Party

Conditions of Inclusion:

Upon completing this expression of interest, I/we are confirming that I/we agree to the below conditions of inclusion in Fine Vines, 2023.

I/we are willing to offer up to 4 x tickets to event organisers for promotional use or for AHOY representatives.
Any marketing collateral created will be planned with and approved by event organisers.
I/we agree that event organisers will get final signoff on event concepts, ticket price, inclusions and date/time.
I/we agree that transport options will be considered if events are taking place outside of town sites.
Ability to provide an up-to-date Risk Management Plan two months prior to the event.
I/we have provided two possible dates for our event within the festival period (to allow flexibility in the festival program).
I/we understand that included events are at the discretion of the management team and Steering Committee.
I/we have completed the Government’s COVID-safe plan and agree to execute an event within these guidelines and with proper precautions in place.
I/we confirm that our event concept is (and will remain) exclusive to Fine Vines before and during the 2023 festival.
