A safety deposit of $200 is made prior to the event, this is to ensure no damages, and ad hoc anomalies come up pre/post event. An invoice will be sent out separately to the nominated email address. This is also security of the booking and is not refunded should you wish to cancel the event at any time. IF the damages/ fees incurred as a result of the event, the client will be liable to reimburse the gallery. If there are no damages/ extra fees incurred the deposit will be refunded in full to your nominated bank account, please fill out the details of the account you wish this to occur.

Will you be bringing your own catering i.e. food and drinks, and what type of food and drinks are you bringing in? i.e. finger food/ charcuterie boards, wine/ beer, spirits. Note we allow BYO catering and drinks, however you will require a drinks service if the event is planned to have more than 40 patrons due to license conditions (next question).

In the case of more than 40 people, all hirer's will be required to arrange for a portable bar service, through Lemon Lime Bitters by contacting Blake 0413 122 144

Hirers are responsible for any damage caused to the premises of the property directly arising from the Hirer's acts of omissions or otherwise from a breach of Galley rules only. The cost of repair or replacements for which the Hirer is responsible will be taken from the bond in the first instance, and if the cost is greater than the bond, the Hirer will be liable for any additional costs but only so fast as the additional costs arising from the Hirer's acts or omissions or otherwise from a breach of Gallery rules only.

No decorations are to be stuck on walls or near artworks. No confetti or glitter on premises. All items that are brought in for the event must be all removed at the end of the event (by bump-out time). All patrons are to be advised that no spillage of food/ drinks/ touching of artwork at any point of the event. The liability falls on the hirer and the costs will be recovered in the case of any damage to AYG property. Please note that plinths are not to be used to put down drinks or food, please be advise all patrons during the event that drinks/ food must only be placed on tables.

Noise Conditions: No bass is permissible at AYG, and if you are bringing in your own DJ they must adhere to our noise limits as set out by our noise limiter. Noise levels must not exceed the permissible noise levels stipulated in Part 5.3 - Noise, of the Environment Protection Regulations 2021 for Residential Premises, Commercial, 26 July 2022. The Noise Limiter device will not be tampered with or turned off at any time. If any device is found to be turned off or tampered with, the Hirer will be responsible to cover any liability around conditions of Noise as per the Gallery Permitted license conditions. In the case of fine issued as a result of noise from the event that exceeds the above mentioned, the hirer is liable to pay penalties due to noise exceedances pertaining from the Hirer's acts.

The Hirer is responsible for no consumption of alcohol outside of the premises and all drinks must be left inside. A penalty of $300 applies if alcoholic drinks are taken and consumed outside of premises. The Hirer is also responsible for no glassware to be taken outside of the premises for health and safety purposes. A penalty of $150 applies if there is glass taken outside of the premises during the Hirer event.

The Hirer is responsible for no rubbish including cigarette butts to be discarded outside of the premises. It is the Hirer's responsibility to check there is no rubbish left outside of the premises at any point during and post the Hire. No vaping is allowed inside of the premises and penalties apply if evidence is recorded on CCTV.

During the duration of the event hire, it is strictly prohibited to consume or distribute illicit drugs on the premises. Any individual found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately, and legal authorities may be contacted if necessary. We are committed to maintaining a safe and conducive environment for all attendees and staff members. Your cooperation in adhering to this policy is greatly appreciated.
