Thank you for your interest in Fox Families Care! Our organization works to bridge the gaps between the needs and resources of families in one of the most socio-economically diverse school districts in the state. Since 2019, our programs and services have supported hundreds of FCASD families by connecting them to vital resources they need to regain stability in the face of hardship.
The work we do would not be possible without the engagement of caring community members like you. Please read more below about three great ways to get involved, and the select the one you'd be most interested in pursuing.
1. BOARD DIRECTOR
Responsibilities:
- Governance, legal, and fiduciary duties
- An understanding of FFC’s mission and financial status to approve major decisions and plan for future programs and expenses
- Advancing and advocating for the mission FFC
- Committee/Liaison involvement
- Financial Contribution annually
- Board meeting attendance (> 70%)
- Volunteer (> 5 shifts)
Preliminaries:
- Serve as a committee member, liaison, or active volunteer with FFC for at least 6 months
- Voted in by current Board
- Sign Commitment Form, Conflict of Interest, Confidentiality Agreement/Liability Waiver
2. COMMITTEE MEMBER
Responsibilities:
- Current Committees include: Executive (Officers of the Board of Directors only), Outreach, Finance, Communications, Governance (Board Directors only), and Fundraising
- Regularly attend committee meetings (> 70%)
- Work with other committee members to accomplish the objectives of the committee
- Volunteer (> 2 shifts)
Preliminaries:
- Meet with the Committee Chair(s) and be approved by Committee
- Sign Confidentiality Agreement/Liability Waiver
3. VOLUNTEER
Responsibilities:
- Help to implement the events and partnership activities that the Board and Committees plan
- No meetings to attend
- Involvement as your schedule allows
