Vendor Waiver/Royalty Exemption Request

To request permission to use George Mason’s brand on a one-time use basis, please complete the form below. Instances where one-time use requests are appropriate include: baked goods for an event or products that the University's officially-licensed vendors cannot produce. Additionally, you should use this form to request exemption to paying any royalties by a licensed vendor should you feel the request is supported by the exemptions noted below. If your request is approved, you and the vendor will be notified directly.
Exemptions to Royalty Policy

Effective April 1, 2025, University purchases of uniforms essential to job functions will continue to be exempt, including player uniforms for Intercollegiate Athletics and work uniforms for University Police and appropriate Facilities employees.
