Artful Yoga Gallery (AYG) is a not-for-profit community space grounded in the belief that healing happens together. People need people. Our mission is to complement existing treatment models by creating spaces where connection, creativity and community support are central to wellbeing.

Alongside this, we also offer subsidised wellness programs and pay-as-you-wish classes, making healing accessible for everyone, without barriers.

We warmly welcome organisations and individuals who wish to create wellness or art programs that serve and uplift our communities. To make this sustainable, we’ve designed an incentive-based cost structure:

Venue hire: Subsidised at $100/hour (normally $170–$200/hour)

Cleaning fee: $150 (subsidised)

Optional waitstaff: $35/hour (subsidised)

When you host with us, we also support you by promoting your event, connecting you with our networks and resources, and walking alongside you on the journey.

Because at the heart of it all—this is about community.

House Keeping & Rules

- no moving art or lighting fixtures unless by AYG staff

- furniture and items to be put back as was at the end of the event

- music cannot be too audible outside of premises past 10pm and must comply with EPA Noise restrictions

- no alcohol permitted outside of the premises / ensure there is no litter outside cigerette butts etc and smoking is not within 2m of the venue.

I would like to hire the studio at a subsidised rate of $100 per hour, inclusive of bump-in and bump-out time (standard rate: $180–$200 per hour).

There are no exceptions for bump-in and bump-out times, please include this into costing. If the event runs over time, then the additional payment for overtime (at $100/hour) will be reimbursed to AYG out of the security deposit.

I would like to be considered for a profit share model of the earnings from the event at 50-50 split with AYG This is considered on case-by-case basis. This is only on rare occassions.

We will be serving alcohol, and therefore need an RSA suitable waitstaff provided by AYG at $35/hour **note we cannot sell alcohol at our venue, we are permitted to serve it only (donations are also accepted)**

What setup would you need i.e. Projector Screen, Mats (25 available), Chairs (40+), Trestle Tables (4 available), blankets (7 available), PA system. Note you will need to bring your own console (for DJ) and mic as needed

I need event management staff members from AYG to assist at $35/hour (recommend 1 staff per 25 patrons)

I accept the cleaning fee post event of $150 flat fee

I acknowledge that I hold the suitable skills, knowledge and accreditation to teach the course/hold the event I am requesting for. And should evidence be needed I am able to provide validation and proof to AYG.

Liability and Damage Waiver: (1) The Client acknowledges and agrees that they shall be fully responsible for any damage caused to the Gallery's premises, fixtures, or equipment during the Event. (2) The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Gallery harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from such damage. (3)The Client shall obtain adequate insurance coverage (if required) for the Event and shall provide proof of insurance upon request by the Gallery. The Gallery shall be named as an additional insurer under the Client's insurance policy. AYG has public liability insurance which will be used in case of a collaborative arrangement. (4) The Gallery shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by the Client or any third party during the Event, except to the extent such injury, loss, or damage is caused by the Gallery's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Cancellation Policy: The event can only be cancelled up to 21 days prior to the event, after this date a $100 fee is payable to the gallery for holding the date

Do you need other allied practitioners or assistance from an AYG member for the event? We have a team of trauma-informed mental-health professionals, artists, and event management staff on-hand. The costs will be dependent on your needs.

Additional Terms and Conditions: (1) The Client shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements in connection with the Event. (2) The Gallery reserves the right to terminate the Agreement and eject any person from the premises in the event of any violation of the terms of this Agreement or any disruptive behavior during the Event.
